- [Aerin] A lotta people think that science is boring, and it’s not. It is so fun. (upbeat music) I get to go to some of the most amazing places in Canada and look at what wildlife are doing and think about how they’re living in those places and how they will be able to live there for years to come. I feel really strongly about using the knowledge we have as scientists and the voice we have as people to speak up for the things that can’t speak for themselves. Plants, animals, all over the world are not involved in political or social decisions. We spend a lotta time working on grizzly bears, on wolverines, on caribou, on animals that need to move really, really long distances in order to survive and to thrive.
