Samsung Galaxy Tab A - le Test

Today we’re going to take a look at the all-new tablet from Samsung called the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 and this is the 2019 version you should know that it is the cheapest at 210 euros or 230 dollars. for information the Galaxy Tab A version 2020 is announced but with no release date yet. well in the meantime i will settle for this one We then start with the unpacking so let’s look inside the box, we have the tablet of course, which comes first we have a power outlet the USB Type C cable which is good and better than the Micro USB also we get a tool to eject the location of the micro SD card and SIM card Then we have a quick start guide and warranty cards that nobody is looking at except in case of problem Now let’s move on to the tablet itself and its design the galaxy Tab A has a 10.

1 inch screen 02:00 - and it appears to be a capacitive touchscreen TFT screen, with a Full HD resolution of 1920 by 1200 pixel, obviously your tablet will have the highest pixel, but I still think 10 inch full HD is fine, it is fully laminated and it is the difference to the previous tablet and that’s something we see with a standard iPad for example ok so i like what i see so far it’s very similar to the iPad air, even if i know apple fans who wouldn’t like to hear me say that. the back is made entirely of metal and it is the silver version, you can also get it in black and gold color in the corner you have your eight megapixel rear camera and you have your two speakers on the bottom with the USB C charging port on the right side you have the volume and the power button the slot for micro SD card and Sim card in front we have the camera of five megapixels and at the top you have the headphone jack and your microphone, the previous model was entirely made of plastic, but now we have a nice metallic body here, which is really metal, and we feel a little more upscale because it’s a mostly metallic body that is definitely nice to see 7.5 millimeters thick and the tablet weighs about 460 grams which is not too bad for a 10.1 inch tablet. let’s take a look inside the tablet, Samsung ships it with a 1.8 GHz and 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor with an Exynos 7904 shipset for a larger memory bandwidth, with 2 gigabytes of RAM and 32 GB internal storage, but which can also carry a microSD card of up to 512 Gigabytes these specifications do not seem so impressive but i have already run an antutu benchmark test and as you can see the antutu result is very impressive, Galaxy Tab a 10.

1 2019 is faster than Huawei media 04:31 - so the benchmarks are pretty good and I have already played some games as you can see here and indeed the results of my game test are excellent, they are reflected since I was able to define the HD graphics and the very high frame rates Also there are a lot of updates although I downloaded some I still receive some, so a very good point for Samsung. compared to the previous tablet the buttons here below have changed there is more that you can control. so use only by touch screen is now available, it also means that there are no fingerprints or even the ID side, you can only unlock it with a password, a pin code or a scheme Storage level, it currently uses 8.6 GB for the system. Which is not too bad and that leaves you another twenty-three GB, but you also have the space for the 512 GB maximum So Camera level, the camera here is actually pretty decent for a tablet, obviously it’s not going to be as good as your cell phone but you can actually see a lot of details in the photos from the camera app that you can use as the Panorama Pro photo and of course video and here are some samples of some photos that were taken with this tablet it should not be forgotten that this tablet is considered as a family tablet since even on the box you have the certification of the LEGO brand and the mention Kids Home, moreover you have a dedicated children’s area interface for children so they can leave the tablet for safe use so performance should be totally correct for standard tasks, that’s what the benchmarks show, and it’s pretty good hardware for general use for web browsing to watch some Netflix YouTube video and so on I didn’t really expect much when it came to tablet cameras, but for me it’s pretty decent let’s say that despite the fact that I touched the manual setting and testing with Google camera does not improve the image quality, I conclude that it is at the level of the material which remains average I don’t think I can use it to take pictures but I think the kids are not going to have a problem doing it. sound level, quality and excellent, despite the Dolby ATMOS I find that the speakers are not well distributed, if I hold the tablet horizontally well I will hear the sound of one ear, I think he should have put one speaker up and one down, I hope this will be reviewed in the next version.

07:36 - But despite this the sound remains excellent and I will listen to an extract… Finally Tab A 10.1 is equipped with a 6,150 mAh battery, or 1,150 mAh less than that of its predecessors, suddenly it has a decent battery life, but we expected better considering the performance of its predecessors in our battery life test. So after testing this for about more than a week, I would definitely say yes I recommend this tablet but only for family use, especially during confinement I like the design, it looks a bit modern, is obviously highly personalized, new features with new Android and updates from Samsung, the games test remains excellent especially since the benchmark gives an excellent result especially for a tablet that has been released since April 2019, the sound remains perfect as well as the navigation. Negative point, as we said the sound is not well distributed despite the good quality, as well as the on-camera which is not the quality I expected especially coming from Samsung as well as the autonomy which remains excellent with a battery of 6150 mAh.
