Meet an Honors College Ambassador | The University of Alabama

• The Honors College is a great opportunity to find that smaller community and that feeling. There’s a lot of programs that they offer, a lot of service opportunities you can get involved in, and leadership opportunities as well, so I’m an ambassador for the Honors College. That’s a great leadership opportunity. I get to talk to a lot of families and their students that are interested in the Honors College, interested in the university in general. I’ve enjoyed just being able to talk to students and share my experience with them ‘cause that’s one of the things that drew me into the university myself, was getting to have real interactions with students that were a few years older than me, who had gone through the things that I was about to go through. And so, being that person for a student who’s coming in as a junior or senior in high school, it’s just a great experience.
