Hey guys! Welcome to Tech Bytes S2 Ep. 6. Due to some parties, this episode will only have 3 articles. But they’ll be really interesting. Stay tuned because the last article is super exiting for the future of 5G. If you didn’t realize this video is in 4k! If your phone is compatible switch to 4k. Anyway, let’s get started. (Intro) Have you always wanted to use augmented reality to see the insides of a person? Well apparently someone wanted it so much that they got the FDA to approve it! The first article comes from Digital Trends, a technology news, lifestyle, and information website that publishes news, reviews, guides, how-to articles, descriptive videos and podcasts about technology and consumer electronics products. The new system is called Xvision.
01:05 - Right now, augmented reality technology is most associated with gaming or, perhaps, pick and placing your virtual Ikea furniture. That’s a great use of it. But ehhh… maybe not on surgery. The second article comes from Engadget a multilingual technology blog network with daily coverage of gadgets and consumer electronics. They report that AT&T has newly released 5G functionality in New York City and five other cities in the US. The entire city is blanketed in 5G and its fully rolled out. I’m exited for the future of 5G. If you’re excited for 5G then like, subscribe, and hit the bell icon.
01:47 - Then press all to be notified of any future videos. Oh… this is also about 5G. Anyway, the final article comes from the xda developers, a mobile software development community of over 6.6 million members worldwide. They report that a recent Samsung promotion confirms upcoming 5G support on the Galaxy Tab S6. This will be the first tablet in the world to get 5G. The promotion is from Korea. We don’t know any of the details yet, but it looks really cool, and I’m so excited for the recent events in 5G.
