Okay, the YouTube title sounds a bit more promising than the actual code, but anyway! Basically some options were moved from Tweaks to Settings app. This is work in progress and not in master yet, so I will go a bit fast with what we have now on the merge request. So we open Settings, and now we have a new “Multitasking” item on sidebar. And inside we have some options. The first option is to disable the hot corner, so if we hit it nothing will happen. But I’ll keep that on! Second is to activate screen edges.

00:34 - If off, it means that dragging a window like that, won’t tile it. So we obviously need that on, although by default was off. The next choice is to set dynamic or fixed workspaces. So if I set fixed and 7, now on overview will see 5 virtual desktops.. which means it just bugged :)) But you get the point! It is not the proper time and I will bring that up when the patches will get merged, so I’m just setting a reminder to my self, that dynamic workspaces are not such a great idea.

01:04 - We need semi-dynamic virtual desktops with the option to re-arrange them, i believe. Anyway, and the last option is if we want the workspaces to be visible in all monitors or not. And I know, I get lots of complains for not testing multimonitor support in GNOME, but that will get fixed! Soon..I hope :/ So that was all and nothing new really, but a welcome addition never the less! And again! That’s work in progress and things may change, so you better follow the issue on Gitlab. .
