• [Jenna] The most exciting thing for me is having the opportunity to watch something that has been always illegal in our lifetime move to like this legal and regulated framework in Canada. (upbeat music) I focus on cannabis policy, education, and what access looks like for medical reasons. Cannabis is really just a plant, and it’s a plant that can be used a variety of different ways. Just like anything else, there are responsible ways of using it, and then there can also be more problematic ways that you can use any substance. For example, cannabis can help with things like chronic pain, or help people who are going through cancer, especially with the treatments, so when you feel sick or nauseated, cannabis can help with that.
