DDS-CAD 16 | Optimized Start Page and Project Navigator

Managing your DDS-CAD projects has never been as easy as with the enhanced Start Page and the new Project Navigator in DDS-CAD 16! The Start Page now serves as a complete hub to search and create projects. You can directly select and open your desired working directory. The projects contained in the active working directory are displayed with thumbnails. You can also toggle between this list and your recent projects. By clicking the pin you can add projects to the favorites list.

Within this list you can also sort the projects as you like. Use the “Search for projects” field if you want to search for projects in multiple locations. And when you create a new project on the Start Page, you can now instantly select your preferred discipline. Another unique feature of DDS-CAD 16 is the new Project Navigator. Here you can create new models, or select existing models, as well as selecting the discipline you want to work with.

01:05 - The Project Navigator displays the whole content of your project – for example the different models, the distribution board documentation, or the diagrams – in a clearly arranged tree structure. Additionally you can copy entire models to a storey above or below. This feature is a huge timesaver if several floors of a building have an identical setup.
