Hi, everybody, Kevin in Portland with a quick message to my friends who might still be thinking about voting for Donald Trump. The short version of my message here is I’ve been kind of borderline political nerd and current events nerd since I was a junior high school. Registered as a Republican in high school, and things have changed dramatically since then and I hope you’re willing to change along with them. And think about your vote and why you originally registered to vote Republican and whether you still want to keep doing that or not. I mean, for me, I know I look at what the party was then and what it is now, night and day difference.

00:42 - Especially in terms of values, character, et cetera. We know that in terms of values and character, Donald Trump is a black hole. Unfortunately allowed certain elements of the party have gone along with him, including most members of Congress who are completely unwilling to hold him accountable. The coalition the Republicans have built at this point in time includes a lot of good people who traditionally have voted Republican for the right reasons. Unfortunately includes quite a few people who are deep into conspiracy theories as well and just are living in an alternate reality.

01:18 - Trump is manipulating all those people to his advantage. We know he’s a horrible combination of ignorance, arrogance, selfishness, incompetence. It’s not going to get better. It’s gonna get worse. We know, at least I personally am comfortable, I’ve accepted the fact that he doesn’t care about you. He doesn’t care about the constitution. He doesn’t even care about America. He cares about Donald Trump. That’s it. We also know he’ll manipulate the system. He’ll do anything and everything he can to get his way, and that he has more than a few autocratic tendencies. He won’t even speak out against a group that’s trying to kidnap the Governor of Michigan.

All I’m going to do is just one more time ask you if you’re a long- time Republican, Joe Biden’s not great. The Democrats are the same as they always have been, which isn’t great. I, they do some things that concern me, but the Republicans under Trump are doing a lot of things that just flat out frighten me.
