Housing is not a commodity, it’s a human right. This was the key question at the affordable housing conference in Vienna. for the provision of more affordable and social housing. At the moment this is unfortunately not the case. meaning social housing is only for the poorest of the poor socially disadvantaged people.

00:43 - We the International Union of Tenants thinks that social housing should be for everybody who needs it. For broad parts of the population and they are not socially disadvantaged. They are normal people like you and me. I think this is important happy about that. We need to do further steps at European level with the help of all Member States. .
