Hi guys! It’s Daisy here! These days, cosmetics made by Youtubers are extremely popular. So today, I’m going to review cushion foundations made by my fellow Youtubers. To be honest, I do not personally know these Youtubers. I guess reviewing these products will be okay…? Now, let’s get started! The first product instantly caught my attention when I saw it. It’s SUREPI’s BBOM Foundation.

42 - Its full name is SUREPI’s BBOM Smooth Cover Up Foundation. It has SPF50+ and PA++++. It’s sold at 28,000 won ($28) and I chose the color #21 (Rose). I think its name is from the Youtuber who created it, Bbomni. It has a blue packaging and come with a pink tin container. Thanks to its pretty design, my first impression of it was great. The product emphasized adhesiveness and it really had high adhesiveness. The product adhered to my skin well and the coverage is high. Thanks to its great adhesiveness, only a light amount was needed but when I applied multiple layers, the coverage increased. It has a powdery finish but hydrates the inner skin and I especially loved the thin layer that made my skin look plump. It also effectively covered up my pores and unevenness. But it blots out a bit.

35 - I think this is because the product was released before COVID19. I also carried out my 6 hour consistency test while wearing a mask for an hour. It did a great job in preventing oiliness. My skin almost looked the same to when I first applied it and I didn’t feel dryness. So I think it’s outstanding trait is light texture and high consistency. However, keep in mind that it blots out a bit and since it applies lightly, blotting out is a bit noticeable. I was quite surprised to be honest. The application, performance, and quality are excellent. Its performance is way better than roadshop brands. Instead, this product reminds me of LANCOME. If it weren’t for COVID19, I think I would have enjoyed using this product this winter.

26 - But since it blots out, I recommend this to those who are okay with fixing their makeup. I actually used this product today and in my previous video. So I think I will use this well when filming videos. The next cushion foundation is made by LAMUQE. It’s EQUMAL’s No More Cushion & Concealighter. It’s sold at 38,000 won ($38) and I chose the color #01 (Vitaful). I actually possess several EQUMAL lipsticks and am always looking forward to its products. The composition of the product just resembles LAMUQE herself. The consumer can control the tone of the product as the cushion and concealighter have a half-tone shade difference. Shout out to LAMUQE that she even created 2 different cushion puffs.

14 - The Wear puff builds up coverage but applies thickly while the Bare puff applies lightly with light coverage. For your understanding, they can be called as adhesive puff and glowing puff. I applied the product and as I had expected, the adhesiveness is great. It has a natural shade so I used 2 different puffs on each half of my face. When I used the Bare puff, the layer applied lightly while the coverage was low. You will like it if you have dry skin, but combination skin like myself may not like it. I also felt stickiness when I used the Bare puff to finish up my makeup by using the concealighter. So I suggest using the Wear puff if you have combination or oily skin. This puff really helps stick the foundation to your face. But keep in mind to meticulously control the volume as your makeup may easily become thicker when you apply a lot.

01 - As you can see, my skin looks very different depending on which cushion puff I used. Then what about the consistency? Let’s find out through my 6 hour consistency test. I think this product shows what consistency is. The surprising thing was that it almost did not blot out to my mask. I think the product is strong against physical touch or friction. One drawback was that it was weak in oil prevention. Oil came out on my T zone and nose as time passed. So using powder is required. Multiple functions, puff, and being able to control the shade just represents LAMUQE herself very well. Dual cushion which includes balm and foundation usually receive contrasting reviews. Base makeup newbees may also have a hard time using such a product.

52 - Nonetheless, I think the product definitely lives up to its price. I will recommend this one if you are skilled at makeup and like to create definition on your face. The next item is from the brand where Youtuber HA NEUL is the muse. It’s PEACH C’s Honey Glow Cover Cushion. It has SPF50+ and PA+++. It’s sold at 25,000 won ($25) and I chose the color #Ivory. Out of today’s products this one received the most review request. The packaging and the cushion puff resembles the peach-like mood. Following its name, it has a pink-ivory shade. I applied the product with its cushion puff and it had great adhesiveness. However, it wasn’t like the foundation layer felt like my skin but rather felt like the product smoothly float on my skin. Thanks to its refined and light texture, it felt like I was wearing BB cream or tone up cream.

55 - Since the texture is a bit transparent, about 20-30% of your blemishes are visible. The instant finish is very hydrating. It’s like a higher coverage version of CHANEL’s Les Beiges Cushion. What I mean is that this product will have amazing chemistry if you have healthy skin. I conducted the 6 hour consistency test as well. As it’s a hydrating cushion, you can see some darkening. Surprisingly, it now showed a matte finish. What happened? I personally liked the powdery finish but if you decided to use this product because you have dry skin, you might be disappointed. Again, it does not have high coverage. HA NEUL has great skin, right? So this ivory shade and half transparent texture is targetted at those who have great skin enjoying light and plump base makeup. This product is great for fixing makeup as it has a hydrating and refined texture. But this type of cushion foundation has to give up on several functions such as coverage.

06 - It may also receive contrasting opinions as the hydration disappears after time. The next cushion foundation is made by former teen celebrity and current Youtuber Hong Young Ki. It’s MILK TOUCH’s Find The Real Cover Cushion which is sold at 35,000 won ($35) and has SPF50+ and PA+++. I chose the color #01 (Pure Beige). So basically its name is saying that this cushion helps consumers discover what real cover is, right? The first impression of it was indeed it has high coverage. Also, no matter how many layers I applied, the layers did not peel off and instead adhered to my skin.

42 - This is an important quality that a cover cushion must have. It just vanished my blemishes and covered up my pores and unevenness well. While PEACH C’s cushion had a neutral to pink tone, this one has a neutral to yellow tone. Of course it is a bit thick, but it did not suffocate my skin. I conducted the 6 hour consistency test. A drawback is that it is weak in preventing oiliness. My skin turned oily but besides that, it did not enlarge my pores nor did it lack consistency. Also I could see that the product blotted out through the stains on my face. But it still remained its great coverage. I think this product is great to use when you are doing full makeup. Out of the 5 cushion foundations I’m reviewing today, this one absolutely has the greatest coverage. But if you have combination or oily skin, you may need to use oil control films or powder.

54 - Also, if you fail to control the volume, your makeup may become cakey. The last cushion is made by Youtuber AORI. It’s LOAR’s Royal Trufflus Cushion. It has SPF50+, PA+++, is sold at 33,000 won ($33), and I chose the color #20. Truffle extract is usually used in skin care products. As this product not only includes truffle extract but also various whitening and anti-wrinkle ingredients, it emphasizes taking care of your skin while wearing makeup.

28 - I thought this cushion really matches with AORI’s luxurious and stylish mood. I purchased shade #20 and used its cushion puff to apply it. The first impression was moderate as it had good coverage and fixed quite well to my face although it didn’t show perfect adhesiveness. But it is quite thick and there is a limit to applying multiple layers. So the coverage is also limited as well. So this was a personal drawback that I witnessed. It has a powdery finish but my skin felt hydrated on the inside. I checked out its consistency through the 6 hour consistency test. Its blotting out was okay as it did not leave stains on my skin. It also did a good job in oil prevention as my skin looks almost the same to when I first applied the foundation. But I couldn’t experience equal consistency as the makeup on areas near my nose and cheeks lost adhesiveness.

37 - Also, due to the limited coverage, the cracked makeup decreased the overall coverage. I think this product can be used effectively when you only apply a single layer. You may be a little bit disappointed if you want to add multiple layers or want a meticulous finish. So this product may not satisfy those who want high unevenness coverage and skin texture correction. I recommend this product to those who want skin care while wearing makeup.

06 - I suggest considering its skin care functions as well as it has quite a clear limitation as a base makeup product. Did you guys enjoy today’s video? I tried to objectively review these products from a consumer’s perspective. Since I’m also running a business as well, this video gave me a chance to carefully think about what my consumers will need and want. It was a wonderful and personally inspiring time for me. I’ll see you guys next time with more fun and helpful videos! Until then, bye guys :) .
