Watch Before You Buy Air Jordan 1 85 Neutral Grey OG High

there was a select amount of colorways that came out back in the day as you can see from the photo right here from somebody else’s collection there were definitely a good amount of shoes that came out back in the day but nothing anywhere near to how many colorways have come out in the current time but no matter how many crazy different colorways that we get year after year after year it doesn’t matter because when it comes to og you always have to pay homage to that and today we have the air jordan 1 neutral gray finally getting released again and i am so excited to unbox this shoe unfortunately this is not my size my homie hit on these on sneakers app and got them early i had to get them for the review for you guys and i’m still working on getting myself a pair as well starting with the box you have your classic og style air jordan one box but this one is reversed instead of black and red it’s red and black and we have seen this recently on the previous 85 air jordan 1 the reverse bread that came out last year around the same time of the year looking at the size tag it reads air jordan 1 high 85 white neutral gray retail 200 bucks opening up the lid of the box right here you have the same exact paper that you had on the previous one as well you got your wings logo with your jumpman logo and your 23 branding on this paper all over throughout and then you got a second set of white paper individually wrapping each shoe right here the last one came with a dust bag as well i don’t see that here in this bag but it’s okay because we got the shoe so first impressions of this shoe it’s simple it’s clean i like it is this the best colorway of all time no do i like white shoes sometimes is it a classic yes do i have to have it in my collection yes so let’s go ahead and start breaking down the shoe and then i’ll show the results of what everybody else thinks about it and then we’ll talk about numbers and everything like that at the end of the video starting with the outsole you have your classic og style air jordan 1 outsole this is different than your og air jordan 1 high which i have shown in previous videos as well but this is definitely something we haven’t seen in a long long time when it comes to the jordan 1 outsole it’s a lot more narrow and some people like it some people don’t but as we know nike’s typically run narrow so i understand where they’re going with the og vibe especially with the cuts on the material on the upper and everything like that going to the midsole you have all white midsole with the white stitch and then on the upper you have all white premium leather and then you have a gray suede swoosh right here and around the collar as well on the back end of the shoe you have a gray air jordan wings logo printed on the side a white and gray nike air logo here on the tongue looking at the sock liner you have all gray sock liner another dope hit that i really like about this shoe as well they put the og stamp how they used to size it in the style code number that stamped on the inside of the foot right there on the collar they still replicated that style here on this shoe and i really really like that because that gives you that og vibe yes you have your size tag here on the inside of the foot for the newer style with everybody else with the qr code and everything like that but i do like that og hit right there another thing that i really like as well is the branding on the inside right here with the sticker your classic og sticker that you used to get back in the day reminiscing all the og hits and showing heritage and homage to the ogs it’s always a dope piece and i think partially that’s one major reason why i like this shoe so much again it’s not the best shoe ever but i think from a collector’s standpoint and simply the respect of the air jordan one itself and all the og colorways and how they created the hype to today i think you got to give it its respect and you got to have something like this in your collection if you are a collector that wants to have stuff like that so for me personally i would like to get all of the newer jordan 85 retros that they do plan on coming out with i have the new beginnings pack pair i need to get the reverse bread pair i definitely want these and any other ones that they come out with in the future as well another thing to note is you have white laces that come equipped with the sneaker and then you have an additional pair of gray laces as well and then you have your little flight information pack right here just like the og style that comes with the shoe that lets you know everything about the specs and stuff like that so i think just giving it its og style and its og look and the nostalgia and everything behind it there’s a lot of reasons why a lot of people love this shoe and obviously it’s a very simple and clean shoe that basically anybody could wear me being a size 13 i personally don’t like white shoes in particular as much simply because the shoe just looks really really huge this right here is a size 10.

imagine a 13 right that thing’s gonna look like a boat but either way this is definitely a sneaker i would love to have in my collection and you already know me i’m gonna be on sneakers app trying to get my pair as well so obviously you can tell my enthusiasm around the sneaker let’s see what everybody else thinks about it if you haven’t already make sure you follow me on instagram so you can participate in the polls and all the results are always shown here on the video so this is what the people said 93 of the people chose fire and seven percent of the people chose trash i’m not exactly sure why the people chose trash me i think it’s a hundred percent slam dunk ready to go like everybody gotta have this shoe i wish everybody could there’s only twenty three thousand pairs that were made and another thing that i didn’t talk about earlier is this pair isn’t numbered the reverse bred pair came numbered from 23 000 pairs but it was only on the back and that was something that i didn’t really like as much simply because i wish they would have numbered the shoe that way it just kind of made it a little bit more unique and to know that there’s 23 000 pairs but then they don’t number the shoe for me personally i always think that’s a dope hit on the sneaker i know it doesn’t cost much more for them to do that but it’s just something they didn’t want to do for me thinking like this shoes 200 retail i would expect that to be something a part of the sneaker let me know what you think down below so they have numbered each shoe individually especially saying that there’s only 23 000 pairs and we’re starting to see a trend of the 85 only having 23 000 pairs so that makes me assume if they’re gonna make another air jordan 185 they’re probably gonna do 23 000 pairs of that colorway as well and hopefully on that one they actually number the shoe we shall see so right now this sneaker is currently 200 dollars retail it is gonna be limited to where it is releasing i understand it’s not only releasing on sneakers app but there’s not too many places to get it from and obviously 23 000 pairs isn’t that many especially saying that they have already done a shock drop and released a bunch of pairs already to the public so when release date comes we’re going to have to understand that there’s definitely not going to be 23 000 pairs on release date because pairs have already been sent out so right now this sneaker is currently going for around 500 to 600 depending on the size again retail is 200 bucks so some people are like oh that’s a quick flip or whatever me personally i think this is a hold because again i want this for my collection and i think this is definitely going to be something dope to have down the line saying that they’re not making as many 85 ones as they are regular og high air jordan ones so i think this is definitely gonna be a unique piece to have in the collection i can’t see myself spending five or six hundred dollars on this shoe but i would like to get this for retail or somewhere close to that price so wish me luck man actually no wish everybody luck we all need luck on this one i hope you all can get the shoe too so that’s a quick look at the sneaker let me know what you guys think down below i’m excited to hear your comments do you like this shoe do you not do you plan on getting it are you going to pay resale if you don’t get it what is it is it overrated is it whatever i don’t know just let me know what you think down below i appreciate you guys as always i’ma see you at another one we got plenty more videos coming soon all right y’all yo if you enjoyed this video and you want to make extra money or grow your shoe collection i want to give you a free video with my three tips that were the most powerful that will help you grow your sneaker collection and make an additional one thousand to ten thousand dollars a month all you need to do to get this free video is click on the first link in the description or the comment that’s pinned in the comment section that’ll take you to a page where you can enter your email address and i’ll make sure that i send you a video right away and if you enjoyed this video again don’t forget to like comment share and subscribe my name is dj i’m signing out i gots to go i’m gone peace you.
