So that the front roll doesn’t flatten the worm casts but that it remains practically open, we can take a look right away. Just now everything is taked up and then the rear roller just rolls over. That doesn’t work with the Swardman, I don’t have two wheels. I only have them for the Atco.

That’s why I like to use the Atco for scarifying here. I’ll show you again… Here you can see, there is no roller, but there are only 2 wheels on the outside and with them you can drive over freely until the scarifier picks up the grass and the worm casts here. As I said, the lawn seeds should be well pressed. That is why rolling is optimal, with the heavy cylinder mower perfect. So my eFlex weighs 130 kg, which is of course fantastic for planting the seeds nicely. Then the seeds must be kept moist, 2 weeks. Of course, this is hopefully no longer a problem with the autumn weather, so that you no longer have to water. This is why re-sowing is also optimal in autumn, almost even better than in spring. It is a little too late! Do it in September, not October. I’m late, but I can still do that. It’s really winter so late anyway. That will still work. Then let’s hope that the fine grasses will grow back.

Then of course you shouldn’t mow again 10:55 - until the grass has grown out at least 5 cm. I don’t do either. 5 cm is too high for me, I’ll start mowing again sooner. Let’s see how the grass grows now. If you do this over and over again in spring and autumn, why not re- sow twice a year. Then the grass begins to change and the desired grasses establish themselves. We want to have an even, beautiful, green lawn and we always have to re-sow. A very, very important measure that I never did before. Let’s go! 😁 That is exactly 10 kg. I mean, they recommend… I’ll have a quick look now. I mean, they recommend 25 g per m². I search the Internet and my wife takes a look, it says 25 g per m² in the middle. That means: on 10 m² = 250 g, on 100 m² = 2.5 kg and on 1000 m² = 25 kg. I have 800 m², which means I would need 20 kg, now I have half.
