As some of you guys know I used to be really into flying drones but I never really got a chance to fly the big ones, the expensive ones, only the toy ones.
00:18 - The mini-drones. I have to a lot of expensive hobbies like 3d printing and making other stuff.
00:27 - So I have to make a choice Because I don’t have a large budget. So I drop drones for a while. I didn’t do anything with it.
00:37 - But when Gearbest contacted me and said they were going to offer me to Spark I was super excited.
00:43 - I can’t wait to get back to it. It’s a really expensive one like my shirts say Build, Crash, Repeat. Mostly for me just crash.
00:52 - So I got to practice more because I’m not an expert but I think I can do it. I can handle this.
00:58 - Let’s open it and take a look They did a really good job on packaging, tons of bubble wrap.
01:24 - Here it is, the DJI Spark. They have a bag I think for carrying the drone.
01:59 - But they also have something like a suitcase maybe you can carry it like this I prefer if they have a handle.
02:24 - All this, I think it is the introduction in different languages.
02:30 - Yeah it is. So no matter where you come from they have all the languages so you don’t have to worry about the instructions.
02:59 - I choose the version with the remote control.
03:02 - If you connect with your phone the range is much much less and I don’t want to lose it.
03:16 - The power adapter, cable and this must be the propeller guard.
03:29 - In the front this is the USB cable and the battery charging hub.
03:49 - This is it. The DJI Spark. Oh finally. It’s pretty lightweight I think I won’t have trouble flying it.
04:01 - This is the front camera and this is the lithium battery.
04:08 - I have to go fly it now Later I’m going to tell you other stuff, bye I maybe a bit overeager to try out the Spark.
04:25 - It turns out actually it’s raining now so I’ll just have to do the setup here.
04:29 - I promised my friend at Gearbest I will finish the review this week.
04:33 - So let’s get started let’s hope it will work because the DJI might require a GPS signal and I’m indoors so probably won’t work but will try and let’s see.
04:47 - First you have to download their app. It’s called the DJI Go 4, you can download it at the Play Store or you can scan the QR code at the battery component parts here or the storage box.
05:11 - Then go to the left corner on the top choose Spark Then select the three line icon on the right and try to scan the QR code.
05:25 - I heard that some people it doesn’t work for some people so.
05:29 - oh it doesn’t work for me also QR code is not clear. Scan fail.
05:35 - I should probably just connect it to the Wi-Fi first Make sure your battery is fully charged. Because if it’s not it won’t work.
05:47 - Also don’t use the mini (Micro-USB) charger. It doesn’t work. I tried.
05:56 - So you have to use the one that comes with the DJI Spark set.
06:12 - Press it twice, it will work. Now I will go to the settings.
06:24 - Okay now I’m connected to the Spark. It pops up DJI UAS Products Terms of Use.
06:36 - so just click by activating your aircraft you agree to the DJI UAS products terms. I agree.
06:45 - Activate Spark, activate your aircraft. I can’t fly it indoors and I think I need to practice more.
07:06 - But now everything is set up I’m pretty happy about that.
07:15 - I am waiting at IKEA now. It is raining outside. Before I went out it was sunny and I even put my sunblock on.
07:24 - But I really hope it stops soon so that I can practice with my drone and shoot some videos.
07:31 - But right now I am just enjoying my coffee and have my lunch here.
07:51 - I’m going to the Flying Lawn. So now I’m going up, it has tons of stairs.
07:58 - I hope I can make it, because I’m not that athletic.
08:03 - Let’s go. It’s starting to rain again.
08:18 - So this is the drone field. I’m just waiting for the rain to stop. It’s going on and off I guess it will stop soon.
08:26 - I hope so. Ok that was my first day trying to fly the Spark outside.
10:30 - I know it wasn’t impressive but I am also not a professional pilot I’m just a hobbyist.
10:36 - I used to fly the little tiny drones. But I found the Spark it’s much easier to fly.
10:43 - So I really appreciate that I have a nice time.
10:47 - It was relaxing I didn’t have to worry I will crash it anything like that.
10:54 - After today I started to view it more like a flying camera than a remote control toy.
11:00 - You know I go out and I always use my selfie stick to film my 360 videos and those are very popular.
11:09 - It’s like a long, think like this it’s like a long sefie pole without the stick and it has a wider view, it has a broader view.
11:20 - It can show the whole picture of the family, the hotel, the beach.
11:26 - Or wherever you are you can also get the 360 view of it because you can fly around.
11:33 - I will put the buying link in the description box.
11:35 - And last, remember if I can do it, anyone can do it. Thanks a lot for watching!.
