JBL Charge 4 Bluetooth Speaker of 2018 in 2019 - Will it make it for 2020?

Hey guys this is Ishmeal Lamptey Today I am talking about the JBL Charge 4 Speakers which was released in 2018 but isn’t bad to talk about in 2019. As you can see, that is it right in here, now it has a lot of great features I want to share with you, so without talking further, let’s go ahead and take a look at the video. This is the JBL charge 4, a Bluetooth speaker released some time last year which I still find worth to talk about now. It sells for about $150 and I got my hands on one now, here’s my experience on it. In the box is a nice cover, the speaker and a black box which contains the manual and a type c usb cable.

01:00 - First, let’s talk about the external features of it. It looks a bit bigger than its predecessor, that is the JBL charge 3 and weighs about 960 grams. The texture feels right, and the design looks pretty cool. It has its control buttons at the top or Infront depending on how you position the speaker. I must say this speaker is built for adventure. Let’s get into the technical aspect of it The charge 4 speaker is partially waterproof as you may know by now with an IPX 7 rating. Which can withstand up to 1 meter depth of water for about 30 minutes of time. It has a play time of 20 hours with the help of its 7500maH rechargeable battery which takes up to about 5 hours to fully charge. Once charging, you see these 5 lights at the base which shows the level of power. It is very good to know that this speaker can also serve as a power bank to charge your mobile devices.

02:11 - It works with the JBL connect app which can be downloaded on either playstore or on the app store that can be used to connect to other JBL speakers. Just as mentioned earlier, this speaker uses a type c usb and has a 3.5 headphone jack incase you would want to connect an aux cable to it. The usb port is positioned next to the other inputs. The speaker is a smart one which goes off automatically after some minutes of idleness. For the fun part, this speaker sounds great. Let’s take a listen. [Music] I must say the bass from the speakers at extreme end of this speaker sounds great. Unlike other jbl speakers that allows you to use assistant such as google assistant, siri and the others, this doesn’t have that capability. That’s only the sad part of it, but aside that, I think it is a great speaker So that’s just about it for this video. What do you think about this speaker?
