Typora Markdown Editor: 3 Things I wanna see on Apostrophe

On my previous Apostrophe videos some guys mentioned Typora. Typora is a Chromium app and not even open source, so politely f*ck it! However it does the three things I wanted to have on Apostrophe, so I want to quickly show you those. Typora is basically a full “What You See Is What You Get” editor, but I will only bother with 3 simple things! For consistency I will replicate the exact same Markdown I did on Apostrophe uploads, so lets start typing with special sound effects! So the first thing we notice is that Typora automatically transforms markdown to actual text format, in real time as we type. On code blokes, Typora will also ask us to set the language for better highlighting, but that’s nothing I really care about. And anyway, that was my first feature request in Apostrophe.

00:50 - And if Apostrophe could do that, to me at least would be my most favorite GNOME app! hmm.. basically? The second favorite! Just behind Anime Voice Studio obviously! Okay, so next we can click on that icon, and switch to markdown mode for further editing. Pretty sweet? That was my first request, and my second request was theming support. Typora comes with 5 themes out of box, but there are more we can install from the community! Last but certainly not list, we get a sidebar that we can have more documents open. Or even folders, particular useful if we are working with markdown web-pages! For making an epic video exit, Linux desktop is pretty much the GNOME desktop, and we have 30 million users and counting! And we demand great native apps, and we are even going to pay for them! Because to be very cynical, people will never ever pay for half- completed applications! .
