(whimsical music) - [Stephanie] So, why do math? Once you learn the foundations of math, that’s where the fun begins. When I was a kid, we went on holiday to the U.S. and I visited Thomas Edison’s house and I wanted to solve things like he did. Who knew I would be discovering something called quasisymmetric sure functions that people didn’t think existed. (whimsical music) I’m really passionate about finding new stuff and I’m really passionate about mentoring and actually training the next generation of mathematicians.
