I asked myself if it’s a relic of some along history why is there a trillion dollars held in gold by the world’s central banks plus the IMF and all the other financial institutions? During the 2008 crisis people started become more aware of this when Bitcoin came around suddenly a whole new generation started to understand that the connection between money printing and the Fed and economic weakness and now I think it’s becoming mainstream knowledge that the problem is the Fed the problem is money printing the problem is central banks and until that problem goes away that expect more pandemics and more financial catastrophes.

I think that the COVID-19 epidemic is just a miniature of the kind of problems that we’re gonna be facing in the future, and not just with future pandemics but also with enormous unprecedented economic crisis, climate catastrophe, and so in order to adapt to this new reality, we are having to discover new ways of responding to these problems and using whatever resources we have at hand and coming together and considering things, like in this case, just sanitation is a basic human right, not something which is a commodity that should be bought and sold, but something that people, who are the most vulnerable, should have.

Students produce hand sanitizer to fight COVID
I’ll get the door. - Well this all started three weeks ago when my colleague and friend Yvonne Howe and I, before going to shelter in place, we decided to make some sanitizer according to a World Health Organization formula for ourselves, for our lab mates, and for some of our friends. And it didn’t take long for us to realize that there was something deeply unfair about the fact that we could easily make this for ourselves, but that there were many thousands of people living in the streets, cramped in shelters, working in healthcare facilities who did not have access to this.

One of the best things in Files app is the Tag Filtering capability. But it is also one of the worst features because it is so annoying to bring it on play. Here’s what I mean. Assume we’re looking for a video that talks about gestures. What we need to do, is to open Files. Go to search. Open the drop down. Select “video” tag, and then actually search for gestures.
